The Arizona Modeler Aviator's flying site
is in Usery Park near Apache Junction, AZ. Follow Route 60 to Signal Butte exit
193, Go north to Brown Rd. Go east to Meridian. Take Meridian north for 1/2
mile, cross floodway, immediately turn left on Levee Dr to enter the Superstition Airpark.
The flying site has an 800 ft x 85 ft paved
runway with 75 ft dirt overruns. We have 250 ft of covered Ramada, a pit
area, and ample room for spectator viewing. On contest days, electrical power
is available (gas generator) as well as food concessions and other venders. The
gate to the field is open any time a club member is present. The last club
member leaving locks the gate. We welcome you to visit us any day of the week to
enjoy the wonderful world of R/C Aeromodeling.
